Scene in London is run by South London artist, Samantha Foley, who creates original artworks of London neighbourhoods. Her collection includes unique postcode prints, illustrations of local landmarks and colourful typographic prints.
Maddy Davies - Illustration
Maddy is an artist and illustrator based in London. She is interested in colour and creates artworks that are expressive and explore the everyday, organic forms and dreams.
Niall McGrath - Oil and acrylic Paintings
”My name is Niall McGrath and I've made art since I was able to hold a crayon. I live in London, England.

Alice Alderman - Illustration
Alice Alderman in an artist / illustrator based in London. Her work is characterised by a playful charm and is inspired by everyday human emotion. Alice’s work often features collage and she loves to incorporate old book pages and found papers, which add to the narrative feel, hinting at their own, sometimes long forgotten stories.
Sophie Medhurst - Oil Painting
Sophie paints in oils, usually landscapes and paintings inspired by nature, but also sometimes still life or more urban settings. Her paintings focus on the 'Spirit of Place' of particular locations, where there is harmony between nature and us, capturing the sense of wellbeing that these places bring.
The paintings in the exhibition are a series called 'Ancient Ways' focussing on country lanes, especially 'deep lanes' where there is a sense of the thousands of journeys that have carved them into the landscape over the centuries, always in harmony with the surrounding countryside. It is this sense of history and harmony that has inspired this series.
Alan Derbyshire - Watercolour life drawing
“My technique is to draw quickly from life with as much energy and immediacy as possible. The pencil initially rarely leaves the surface of the paper as it explores and searches for form until the likeness of the sitter emerges. The outer lines of the figure are then enhanced with pen and ink with use of water-brush to embrace the found character.
Back in the studio the ‘space behind’ is added in watercolour to accentuate and embolden the sitter’s presence.
The finished work speaks of the sitter to its audience and says - ‘I am here - in my own skin”
