The perfect way to kick start the summer holidays is by learning something new! The skills you'll pick up on this two- hour crash course in fermentation will stay with you over the summer and beyond. Learn how to make sourdough pancakes, the most amazing wood-fermented chilli sauce, honey-fermented cherries, homemade ginger beer - with a host of seasonal variations, your own apple cider and cider vinegar and good-for-your-gut water kefir with fabulous flavours like saffron and wild plum and rose.
The course will be a mix of demonstration and hands-on making, with lots of tasting to be had along the way. You'll leave with your own sourdough starter, a recipe sheet and water kefir grains.
While the course is aimed at adults, children are welcome to accompany adults and activites can be built into the course to keep them entertained.
