This 6 week drawing course is suitable for both beginners and experienced drawers.

This course will build your confidence and skill in drawing from observation and encourage personal expression.

Observational skills will be developed through drawing from the life model for 4 sessions and from each other / the surroundings of The Paxton Centre for 2 sessions.

Each session will focus on the foundations of drawing - line, tone, form, mark-making and composition. We will look at contemporary artists and old masters for inspiration. By the end of the 6 weeks you will be familiar with technical language with which to talk about drawing.

£150 for 6 weeks qualified tuition by artist Nikki Gardham.

Weekly from Wednesday 23 May to Wednesday 27 June, 7–9pm

Includes all drawing materials.

To book a place a £25 deposit is required in advance and two further payments of £62.50 in weeks one and three, in cash or by bank transfer.
