Learn how to screen-print your own cards and gift wrap in a fun and festive afternoon at the gorgeous Paxton Centre art space. The aim of the workshop is to make screen-printing accessible to everyone. With a range of festive ideas to work from, you’ll leave the afternoon with a selection of greetings cards and gift wrap to treat your loved ones.

During this workshop you will:

-Understand how screenprinting works

-Make your own christmas themed stencils

-Prepare the screen for printing

-Print a selction of greetings cards, and 2 sheets of gift wrap.

-Learn all the basics to be able to screen print at home.

This afternoon workshop will teach you the basic principles of screenprinting, using an A5 size printing screen. With the methods I teach, using small screens and paper stencils, the technique is easy to recreate on a kitchen table, using equipment that is inexpensive and easy to store, meaning you can continue to print your own cards and gift-wrap at any time.
