Crystal Palace Freelancers Jelly

Come and join our 'Jelly', sociable networking at The Paxton Centre for freelancers and those working from home. Our monthly meet-up on the last Thursday of the month starts at 11am with a 15 minute skill share talk on a relevant topic for freelancers followed by a Q&A session. Attendance is free but please make a purchase from the cafe to support The Paxton Centre.

Hosted by Kate Gilbert. https://kategilbert.co.uk

This month's skill share speaker is Akiko, is a local artist and energy work practitioner whose passion lies in helping individuals align with their true selves.

In her talk, Akiko will explore the concept of the 'flow state,' often described as being 'in the zone,' where everything feels effortless, and there's a perfect balance between skill and challenge, fostering optimal performance and creativity. She will provide a foundational understanding of energy flow and discuss how we often become blocked in our busy world. Akiko will contrast 'The Art of Flow' with 'The Art of Control,' highlighting how, as freelancers, the weight of responsibility can prevent us from enjoying the work we love. Through practical energy tools and demonstrations, she will show how to cultivate a more balanced energy flow, guiding us toward a more fulfilling and harmonious experience.

Arrive by 10:30am to give your self time to buy a drink, meet others and grab a seat.

This drop-in co-working day is a good opportunity to meet other local freelancers and local business owners. Light-touch, no stress networking. Refreshments: tea, coffee, soft drinks, snacks and lunches available all day.

Reserve a place to give us an idea of numbers or just drop in on the day.
