Join us for a hands on batik workshop where you’ll create your own piece of textile art to take home with you. Using traditional Senegalese hand carved wooden stamping blocks & hot wax, you’ll design your own unique pattern on fabric. We’ll them guide you through a cold wash dye process, & watch as your artwork is revealed.

This is an ancient textile art form, passed down through generations across Africa & you’ll be learning the same methods used for centuries. All materials are provided. No experience necessary. This is a lovely chance to slow down, be mindful & unwind, while meeting new people in a relaxed, creative space.
