Let’s be honest—talking about your art can feel... awkward. Maybe you freeze up when someone asks, “So what’s this piece about?” Or you wonder how to make a real connection without feeling pushy or salesy. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and this workshop is for you.
Over the course of two relaxed, practical hours, I’ll guide you through the gentle art of speaking about your work with confidence and authenticity. Whether you’re preparing for Open Studios, an exhibition, or your first art trail, you’ll learn how to:
Use body language that says “come on in”Start conversations with ease (even if you’re an introvert!)Tell the story behind your work in a way that hooks peopleNudge towards a sale without feeling like a salespersonHandle quiet moments and busy bursts with grace
Expect laughter, aha moments, and plenty of space to try things out in a supportive group of fellow artists.
Whether you're just starting out or want to refine how you present yourself, this workshop will leave you feeling more prepared—and more excited—to meet your next visitor.
