“I am a retired Designer of Wallcoverings, Fabrics, Carpets and Stationary products. Freed from commercial restraints, I now paint whatever inspires me, here in Crystal Palace, in the city, and on the coast.”

Joseph Green

“Joseph is a local photographer whose work explores the interplay between light and shadow, capturing the essence of landscapes, water, architecture, and the sky. He is currently focusing on black and white imagery to create stunning abstract landscapes which emphasise texture, movement, and contrast. He enjoys discovering and assessing landscapes and is inspired to find different and unique ways of approaching a scene, with the aim of evoking a sense of curiosity within the viewer.”

Ronnie Hackston

“I am an artist and photographer based in South London. Born in Gateshead in 1964, I studied art at the University of Surrey Roehampton and have since exhibited in both solo and group shows. My work ranges from paintings in acrylic and oils to photography and digitally manipulated imagery, often focusing on landscapes both rural and urban, real and imagined.”

John Farnsworth

“Having spent over 50 years as a professional graphic designer working with computer graphics, I realised on retirement that I wanted to return to the more traditional style and methods that traditional watercolour affords. Also, as can be seen from my latest work I gain inspiration from a variety of subjects, but seascapes are probably my favourite.”

“Zoe studied Fine Art and Sculpture at The Chelsea School of Art. She exhibited and successfully sold her artwork at the Royal Academy Summer Show 2024. Zoe was mentored under the late and respected artist Euan Uglow, instilling her creative discipline which she has mastered throughout her career. She posed for many years as his artist model. Zoe exhibits and has worked as an artist across Europe and America. Her influences are wide and varied and her quest for her own identity has continued over many years. Her extensive travels influence her choice of subject, and she has developed her own style influenced by impressionism which she was introduced to by Euan Uglow. Painting predominantly in oils, she has ventured further to murals, album covers, with collectors such as Briony Kapoor.”

Malcolm Turner

@malturner_art

“A multimedia creative who enjoys mark making in charcoal, acrylic paint, heavily drawn to nature and landscape. I’ve been experimenting with 3D objects for the past few years to express my mental health issues. Originally trained as an illustrator in the 80’s with a leaning towards stylised work, after 16 years of work drying up, I side stepped into retail to make ends meet. I’ve continued to paint and create something I’ve always done from a child, an invaluable means of focusing my mind during periods of depression and in later life realising I’m on the autism spectrum.”

Lynette Murphy

@lynart55

“I am a landscape painter of TREES. I started painting as a child. Painting murals on our walls at home. Much encouraged by my parents. I painted seascapes and landscapes. Fifty years later I am still painting. Mainly on canvasses now. I am inspired by natures shapes, patterns and colours. I first exhibited my work two years ago after retiring from my career in Fashion. My work took me all over the world, but I find the colours in my homeland of England are the ones that speak to me the most.”

Gemma Johnson

“Gemma Johnson is a UK-based photographer, cancer survivor, and creative guide. After four years in remission and a solo journey to the Arctic Circle, she now helps others reconnect with the world through the lens of their phone. Gemma hosts Smartphone Photography Workshops, designed especially for women over 40, where she teaches how to use light, shadow, and thoughtful composition to transform everyday moments into meaningful images. Her workshops are a celebration of presence, healing, and creative freedom.”

Agnieszka Matras

@agnes_matras_just_art

“Agnieszka is an artist living and working in London over twenty years now. She considers herself a self-taught artist and she works mainly with oils and acrylics. Using limited palette and traditional approaches to oil paints she tries to convey the beauty of nature and magic of colour on canvas. She pays attention to light and its impact on subject matter. Experimenting with colour she accurately captures the mood and atmosphere of scenes in her art. She gets inspired by the beauty of sky and landscape as well as still life and animals. She doesn't limit herself to and subject and will get the brush any time her eyes meet the view that she can't resist to rewrite on canvas. Agnieszka is a member of South London Women Artists acclaimed group launched by friends of Dulwich Picture Gallery and a member of few local art communities in South London which promote art through workshops, art shows and exhibitions. She exhibits regularly within those groups.”

Daniela Fleckstein

https://themissionisvision.com

“Always with an intrigue of establishing & exploring truth and finding authenticity: Daniela studied and absorbed experiences and cultures for years after obtaining her first Certification in the World of Arts (BA Art & Design) in 1999 with Distinction, shortly after relocating to London from Germany. Daniela went on to study at Chelsea Art School, with a slight change of directions from Fine Art to Photography and eventually graduated from University of Westminster with an Upper Second Degree in Photography in 2006.”

June Lloyd

My aim is to replicate what I see and translate it into something beautiful. In my watercolours I use a unique style to interpret the image, bringing vibrancy and life to my paintings. Through the use of colour and technique I create something that tells the story beyond the visual imagery. My grandfather started me on my journey to paint as a child and I haven't looked back since.
